IT WILL BE WICKED.

Twenty years ago, it all began. From our start-up days in the basement of the Most Precious Blood Church to the splendor of Angel Orensanz Foundation, we have come a long way together. Along the way, we’ve raised a lot of funds for nonprofits from New Orleans to NYC.

Join us in celebrating two decades of Fat Friday. The bead-twirling good times come marching back in on Friday, February 27, 2026 for Fat Friday Wicked Emerald XX.

Pre-sale for tables and tickets starts December 1.

HONORING THE SPIRIT OF NEW ORLEANS

Fat Friday began in 2006 in response to the devastation in New Orleans caused by Hurricane Katrina, organized by NOLA transplant Matthew Day and New Orleans enthusiast Wylie Stecklow.

Since then, we’ve raised more than $250,000 to support charitable organizations from NOLA to NYC, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, Roots of Music, and Red Hook Art Project.
